Supporting Women’s Golf
Patterson River Golf Club is committed to providing an inclusive experience for all Women and our Women’s Committee invite you to join them in their golfing and social activities.
We are a fun and inclusive club who are proud to have had women enjoying 7 day playing rights for more than 30 years!
We truly have a lovely group of women of varying ages, but we all have one thing in common… we all love playing golf together and meeting up afterwards for a chat over coffee or a drink in our Spike Bar where our fantastic staff are always willing to make you feel welcome and happy.
Our club has 7 days of competitions and depending on their membership category, all our members can play 7 days a week. Many of our women play on Tuesdays and Thursday is our main day when we all play together in a collective group. We then meet up afterwards for lunch and have our presentation of prizes for the winners and let everyone know of upcoming events at our club. There is a group of women who play on Saturdays meet after the game for coffee and Mondays and Wednesday we have over 40 women who love to play 9 holes in the morning.
We hold several events during the year which is so much fun. We have formal competition days and Board Events as well as club championships. We also have an Easter Lunch, a Charity Day lunch, International Women in Golf day as well as an Oaks Day where we get dressed up and wear hats and have fun. At times we also have women visiting from other clubs, who come and play our course in invitation events.
We also hold yearly golfing trips away and we encourage all women to join us!
